So initially I liked her name – because I am shallow like that (grin) but then we emailed and she is funny, generous, kind and talented. Here is her blog Capability Green and her Facebook site.
Capability Green makes really healthy and delicious food (if one day I prefer a bean burger to a standard burger, it will be because her recipes are so delicious), takes great creative photos and is funny to boot. She is also civic-minded and is involved in a campaign (for willow.org which is a a Canadian breast cancer support non-profit) called Eat to the Beat – it is being held tonight with great food and although I am not making it to Canada (a bit long for a day-trip) – I am with you in spirit!
Chocolate covered blueberries and spiced cherries food maven Capability Green no relation an amazing food resource
Okay this is weird – I just started using hootsuite to manage twitter and other social media and tried scheduling a tweet for later. sounded great – what I didn’t know is that it shows as a post on my blog, too. Shortest post ever! I will figure this out (maybe) and give a shout out if you know what I did. I like hootsuite but, of course, haven’t bothered with any tutorials. Anyway – go to Capability Green’s site – great idea for a Father’s Day treat.
For Earth Day…umm, Week – here are some green sites that I really like. The flowers are on my front step, ready to be planted. This is a going to be a clean-up the yard and planting day. No perennials yet, too cold here.
Capability Green We found each other on Facebook because of the shared Capability thing. She has great recipes and a new blog. She posted about the hideous double down as well but is so amazing that she was inspired to make a black bean burger stuffed with spinach! Gorgeous photos and food.
Going Green Mama Just found this site – great tips on going green without going crazy – funny, great recipes, tips, links and give-aways.
