Gather any paper you that like – wrapping or old books or cards. Tip: I like to put them in a folder in the basement so my very tidy spouse doesn’t mistakenly throw them away (invariably I forget where I put them, though so it’s the same as if they had been thrown out). So what is a great homemade gift? Well, my default is food for pretty much everything so that is where I start. I can bake and have a few tried and true recipes that I will post below. What if you can’t bake? No time? You hate it? Not a problem. Grab some nice chocolates or favorite candy (you cannot swing a cat without hitting some in almost ny store from Trader Joe’s to T.J. Max – I know – I was there this morning) and repackage it. Fill a nice container with them and a hand written note. No one will care that you did not bake.
