In a community of talented young teens and thriving athletes, we want to feed that ambition and skill-set with the right tools. With that being said, we are truly excited to announce that we were able to donate $5,000 worth of BRAND NEW skateboard equipment! We only want the best for the best!

You never know, we may have a few Tony Hawks in our midst! On behalf of the Newton YMCA and The Newton Partnership, please enjoy the NEW and IMPROVED Skateboard Park!

Open access EVERYDAY 11am-7pm

Free Dance Classes
At Newton Dance Academy

It’s happening! We have partnered with the

Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Contemporary classes are being offered for the entire month of July.
Please note, these dance classes are only free to low income families in Newton. All others are welcome to enjoy the classes at Dance Academy’s standard rate. Please spread the word to those who can benefit from this opportunity. You never know who has the next Michael Jackson or Martha Graham hiding inside of them.

Eating Disorders
Join this free support group hosted by MEDA, sponsored by The Newton Partnership and led by people who been through it themselves.
FREE consultation included.
  • Every Thursday from July 10 – August 14, 2014 from 6:15-7:15pm

QPR Suicide Prevention Training

Learn how to respond to someone in distress

QPR is a simple educational program that teaches ordinary citizens how to recognize a mental health emergency and how to get a person at risk the help they need.

Participants will learn how to:
  • Recognize the warning signs of suicide
  • Offer hope
  • Get help & refer
