It is true, I am someone who strikes up conversation with strangers in the check-out line at the grocery store (no, I am not limited to just check-out lines, either). I met a lovely young mom who was buying a four huge jars of gorgeous looking cherries at Trader Joe’s. I had to know what she was making with them (although it looked like eating them out of the jar might be just fine, too).
Her name is Anya and she kindly shared her family tradition of making Cherry Crisp for President’s Day. What a lovely tradition and a wonderful recipe! Thanks, Anya!
