The old Newton North High School is being torn down – physically in January of next year but this weekend is the celebration of the history of North. Two amazingly dedicated volunteers, Claudia Wu and Kristen Grannon, head up the committee. They, with a team including teachers and administration staff, students (current and former) and parents have planned an incredible tribute to the school.
Main Street is the heart of Newton North and there will be a living timeline of the history of the school, concerts, food, reunion spots along Main Street, film, videos, memorabilia, performances and a yard sale. Below, from the Facebook event page is the schedule of the weekend events.
